Before too many days go by and this blog ends up miles long, I’ll begin by revealing my decision to do it and what I hope to accomplish. I thought I would use this method of communication as a way to reveal my most intimate, personal thoughts, feelings, and opinions. That means it will be more like a fun, personal thing than a business site. At this beginning point, I have no idea what type of content will end up on here so I can’t be that specific. What I do know is that besides being a photographer, I also like to write. To be more accurate, I have to write.
Writing for me is therapeutic. It helps my creative process, gets my brain churning, juices flowing, and helps with a little insight, a little understanding, a little spark, or perhaps even a little BS. I’m sorry, but life in 2008 is so busy now that I don’t have time to write individual letters to everyone who wants one. I’m just going to have to write my letters here and make them instantly public so anyone in the world can read them. I am willing to open up and expose myself like so many others do on the Internet just so anyone who is interested can keep in touch with what I’m doing, what I’m thinking, what I have to say. For good or bad, you should definitely learn a lot more about me.
